Final countdown - Hurrah! Together, we circumnavigated the earth on the latitude which runs through Berlin. Congratulations to all - mission accomplished.
1st August - and 3 more days to go. All km ridden before midday 4th August count! And on our current latitude, we have just reached UK mainland. The latitude which runs through Thurso is 20,964km long!
1st July 2013- just one more month to go! Two riders (in yellow) and one team (in green) are already in Berlin. Maybe now is the time you should look for one or more team members as well?
But don't stop counting! And certainly don't stop riding. Our joint goal is to make it round the world. We will travel on a latitude between Shetland and Cornwall. The more we ride, the further south we shall make our circumnavigation! Shall we make the mainland? Aberdeen? Edinburgh? Every km counts!
10th June 2013 - click the link for the distances for May. And - hurrah! The first rider and horse have arrived! Congratulations to Maike and Oskar. That is an incredible achievement!
8th May 2013 - click the link to see the distances for April. Fiona has almost reached her target, and will be heating up the seats for us in Berlin. But remember this is not the race! And everyone has a different distance to ride.... Just enjoy the horses, and enjoy the fine spring weather (whenever is shows itself!)
3 April 2013 – and the first rider has gone through the 1000km barrier. Congratulations Fiona! Total distance well towards 13,000km.
5th March 2013 - I have now left our a few riders who have not sent me an updates since the beginning of November. If you cannot find your name and you still want to participate, now that the weather is about to pick up again, just let me know.
2nd Feb 2013 - hurrah, we have broken through the 10,000km barrier. Congratulations to all, particularly the horses! This time the results are sorted by last updated - so that those of us with less than 1000km do not fee left out! ;-)
10th Jan 2013 - the latest results for the ride to Berlin. Sorry for the lateness of the latest...
5 December 2012 - here are the total km for November, sorted who has ridden the greatest distance so far. But remember that we do not all have to ride the same distance between home and Berlin. So while some of us are already crossing the Netherlands, I have hardly come as far as Edinburgh. Never mind! It is the ride that counts!
3rd November 2012 - here you find the total km for October. Quite a few riders did not send an update. No matter, just let me know, and I will add it to the total.
30th September 2012 - note, the colours denote the members of different groups
